About the game
Master Checkers is a two-player board game that follows Italian checkers rules. You choose who sits across from you: the computer, someone beside you on the same device, or a player somewhere online.
Pieces stay on the dark squares and travel diagonally, and a normal piece only steps toward the other side. Hopping over an enemy piece removes it, and one turn can carry several hops. If a jump is open, you have to take it, so each move needs a quick look at what the board is forcing. A piece that lands on the row farthest from you becomes a king and can then go forward or backward.
How to play
- Tap one of your pieces, then a dark square diagonally ahead to move it.
- To capture, hop over an opponent's piece and land on the dark square just beyond it; several hops can follow in the same move.
- If a capture is available, you must make it.
- Reach the row furthest from you to crown a king, which then moves forward or backward.
