How Poki uses cookies and browser storage

Poki places no tracking cookies of its own. The one item the site saves on your device is the browser storage a game requires so it can hold onto your progress, like a level you got to or a score you saved.

What Poki stores

While you play, the game might write small bits of data into your browser, such as your last level or your settings. That data remains on your phone or the computer in front of you. It isn't a cookie that trails you to other sites.

Cookies inside embedded games

A few games run in a frame on the page. While such a game is open, it and the ad partner showing ads within it may place their own cookies. Those cookies are the game's or the ad partner's, not Poki's. They may be used to keep your session in the game or to serve ads.

How to block or delete cookies

  • Go to your browser settings and locate the privacy or cookies section.
  • To stop cookies from inside game frames, block third-party cookies.
  • To clear saved progress in games, delete stored site data.
  • On a phone, the same choices sit in the browser app settings.

Should you block cookies, certain games might fail to save your progress or might not load properly.

When you give consent

Starting a game means you accept this use. If cookies or saved game data aren't what you want, close the game and adjust your browser settings before playing again.
