About the game
Hills of Steel is a tank shooter about rolling over uneven ground and knocking out enemy armor. You steer a steel machine across each battlefield, line up your cannon on the tanks ahead and fire. Wrecks leave rewards behind, and you keep them.
Spend gold on better armor and weapons, and use diamonds for gold, crates or a fresh tank. A level can finish with a boss tank that is bigger and carries more HP, and taking it down pays more coins. The ground slopes and tilts your aim, so a clean shot needs timing. Battles start on the ground and later head to the Moon.
How to play
- On a computer, steer with A and D or the arrow keys, fire with Space and hit the booster with X.
- On a phone, use the buttons shown on the screen to drive, shoot and boost.
- Gold pays for armor and weapon upgrades; diamonds buy gold, crates and new tanks.
- Boss tanks at the end of a level are larger and take more hits, and they drop more coins.
