About the game
Block Blast gives you a grid and a set of block shapes to fit onto it. Fill a whole row across or a whole column down and that line clears away, which frees squares for the pieces that come next. Your score goes up with every line you remove.
Space is the thing to watch. Each piece you set down stays where you put it, so careless gaps can leave shapes with nowhere to go, and once the board has no room the round ends. Placing pieces and watching lines vanish is a calm, thinking kind of puzzle you can pick up in a short break.
How to play
- Move a block with your mouse, or drag it with a finger on a touch screen.
- Set it down so its squares complete a full line across or down; that line then disappears.
- Keep enough open squares on the grid for the next shapes to fit.
- Clear more lines to push your score higher before the board fills up.
